For example, in some open bearings or shaft seals, the use of grease can prevent foreign impurities from entering the bearing and prevent the internal lubricating oil from leaking out. In threaded connections and other places, sealing grease (such as thread grease) can fill the gaps between threads, enhance sealing performance, and prevent loosening and leakage.
In short, the sealing effect of grease is achieved through its semi-solid form, the structure of the thickener, and the filling and adhesion in the gaps between components, thereby protecting mechanical components from external contamination and lubricant leakage, and improving the reliability and service life of the equipment.
