Polyurea grease has the following advantages:
Long service life
The urea-based thickener used is a non-soap-based thickener and does not contain metal ions, which avoids the catalytic oxidation of the base oil by the metal ions in the soap-based thickener, so it has good oxidation stability and thermal stability.
Good water resistance
It has strong hydrophobicity and does not flow or emulsify when working under conditions of contact with a large amount of water and water vapor. For example, it can achieve excellent results in water flushing and water spray tests, and can "stay in place" even when there is pressurized water spray.
High temperature resistance
It does not drip oil or coke at high temperatures, and has good oxidation stability. For example, urea-based grease with a certain synthetic mixed oil as the base oil can be used in medium-load bearings for a long time at 200°C, and can even be used at 220°C under light load.
Quiet
It can reduce noise, improve bearing performance and protection, and extend motor life.
Excellent lubrication performance
When working under harsh conditions such as high temperature, high speed, harmful media, heavy load impact, etc., the bearing can still maintain good lubrication; it has good anti-wear lubricity and can form a thicker layer of compound at the use part to prevent direct contact between the friction surface metal and reduce wear.
Other performance characteristics
Strong antioxidant performance, can prevent metal rust corrosion; has good shear stability (new generation polyurea grease); base oil is not easy to lose (less oil separation); base oil evaporation loss is small at high temperature; some polyurea greases also have certain radiation resistance; environmentally friendly, does not contain heavy metals or chlorinated compounds.
