    Industrial applications

    Mainly include hydraulic oil, gear oil, turbine oil, compressor oil, refrigeration oil, transformer oil, vacuum pump oil, bearing oil, metal processing oil (liquid), anti-rust grease, cylinder oil, heat treatment oil and heat transfer oil, etc. In addition, there are also greases with lubricating oil as base oil and thickener added. Users of industrial lubricants are companies from all walks of life. Generally, there are many varieties and large quantities used, which not only depends on the price of the product, but also depends on the quality and technical characteristics of the product, and also depends on the quality of technical services. Therefore, technical marketing of industrial lubricants is more important. Industrial lubricants have different additives in different applications. Hydraulic oil used outdoors must be suitable for local temperature changes, and hydraulic oil used in indoor closed environments cannot be used. In addition, the usage conditions of heavy-duty gear oil and molding oil are also different. Heavy-duty gear oil contains extreme pressure additives to ensure that it can be used in harsh environments. Molding oil is usually pure mineral oil without additives. Enterprises that use industrial lubricants have relatively concentrated machinery and equipment, so purposeful and targeted technical exchange meetings are more necessary.     The basic performance and main selection principle of industrial lubricants is viscosity, therefore, it must be introduced first. GB/T3141-94 is the IS0 viscosity classification of industrial liquid lubricants, which is equivalent to the international standard ISO3448-1992 "Industrial Liquid Lubricants-ISO Viscosity Classification". Generally speaking, under the working conditions of medium speed, medium load and not too high temperature, choose medium viscosity lubricating oil; under the working conditions of high load, low speed and high temperature, choose high viscosity lubricating oil or add extreme pressure resistance. Abrasive lubricants; under low load, high speed and low temperature conditions, choose low viscosity lubricants: under wide high and low temperature ranges, light loads and high speeds, and under conditions with other special requirements, choose synthetic lubrication Oil.

    The basic performance and main selection principle of grease is cone penetration, which is used to divide grease grades. Therefore, it should also be introduced to users. Penetration is an indicator commonly used to control the working consistency of various greases. It is used to indicate the performance of the grease entering the friction point and the softness and hardness of the grease. "Generally speaking, when the load of the bearing using grease is large and the rotation speed is low, grease with a small cone penetration should be selected. On the contrary, when the load is small and the rotation speed is high, a grease with a large cone penetration must be selected. Synthetic grease should be used when there are wide high and low temperature ranges, light loads, high speeds, very low temperatures, and other special requirements.

    There are many types of industrial lubricants, with various varieties, each with its own characteristics in technical performance, and covering a wide range of technologies. Hydraulic oil is the most commonly used variety among industrial lubricants. Let’s briefly explain this variety as an example.

    In the hydraulic transmission system, hydraulic oil as the energy transfer medium can transmit power, reduce friction, isolate damaged surfaces, suspend pollutants, control oxidation of components, and have a cooling effect. Various hydraulic systems have different types of structures and usage conditions. In order to meet the requirements of various systems, hydraulic oil must have certain properties, such as viscosity, viscosity index, relative density, wear resistance, low temperature resistance, acid value, flash point, oxidation stability, demulsibility, and hydrolytic stability , foaming, air release, shear stability, rust prevention and filtration. According to GB11118.1-94 hydraulic oil, it is divided into the following varieties according to the purpose of composition, and each variety has different viscosity grades.
