What to do if you add too much oil?

The more oil, the better. For the normal operation of the car engine, the oil level should be between the highest and lowest marks. If you add too much oil, don't be lucky and think that it will be fine after a period of use.
First of all, you should confirm the oil level. After parking the car on a level ground for a while (if the car has been parked on a flat ground for a long time, you can check it directly). After the oil has completely returned to the oil pan, pull out the oil dipstick, wipe the oil dipstick with a non-woven cloth (clean, no lint, no impurities), then put the oil dipstick back, pull it out again, and check whether the oil level is between the highest and lowest scales.
After checking, if it is determined that there is too much oil, you can unscrew the oil plug screw of the oil pan and drain the excess oil. Or buy a syringe or oil pump, and draw some oil out through the hole of the oil dipstick. Remember to wait until the oil is cool before doing it. In addition, no impurities or moisture should be brought into the engine, especially hard objects, so the plastic tube should not be inserted too deep to prevent it from breaking inside. The tools used should preferably be brand new and must not contain moisture, dust or other impurities.
