Appearance inspection
High-quality grease should have uniform color, no obvious particles, impurities and stratification. If the grease is uneven in color, has precipitation or turbidity, it may be of poor quality.
Consistency stability
Dip a small amount of grease with your finger or tool to feel whether its consistency is uniform. Good quality grease should have similar consistency in different parts.
Dropping point determination
Dropping point is an important indicator to measure the high temperature resistance of grease. The dropping point is determined by professional experimental equipment. A high dropping point usually indicates that it can remain stable at higher temperatures.
Mechanical stability
Observe the changes of grease after mechanical shearing. After a certain degree of shearing, the consistency and performance of high-quality grease will not change significantly.
Water resistance
Place the grease in water and check whether it is easy to absorb water and emulsify. Good grease should have a certain degree of water resistance and should not be easily emulsified and washed away by water.
Oxidation stability
