What grease is suitable for printing machine
For printing presses, the following types of greases are more suitable:
1. Good adhesion
The printing press will vibrate during operation. Good adhesion can ensure that the grease is firmly attached to the lubrication parts and is not easy to lose. This helps to reduce component wear caused by insufficient lubrication and ensure the stable operation of the printing press.
2. Water resistance
There may be a certain amount of humidity in the printing workshop environment, and it may be exposed to moisture during the printing process. Grease with good water resistance can maintain its lubrication performance in a humid environment, prevent the grease from emulsifying and deteriorating due to water intrusion, thereby extending the service life of the grease and protecting the key components of the printing press.
3. Antioxidation
Printing presses usually need to run continuously for a long time, which requires the grease to have good antioxidation properties and not be easily oxidized and deteriorated under high temperature and long-term use. Grease with good antioxidation properties can reduce the aging rate of grease and reduce the damage to the printing press parts caused by grease deterioration.
4. Appropriate consistency
Grease with moderate consistency can maintain stable lubrication performance at different operating temperatures. For high-speed running parts of the printing press, such as bearings, a thinner grease is needed to ensure adequate lubrication during high-speed operation to reduce friction and heat; while for some low-speed and heavy-loaded parts, such as gears, a thicker grease is needed to provide better load-bearing capacity and sealing performance.
