Some Greases Suitable for Small Bearings

Lithium-based grease:

Features: This is a multi-purpose grease with good water resistance, mechanical stability and oxidation stability, and can maintain stable performance over a wide temperature range. Its base oil viscosity is moderate, suitable for working conditions with medium loads and speeds, and can provide good lubrication protection for small bearings.

Applicable scenarios: It is widely used in small bearings such as various small motors, household appliances, and office equipment. The working environment of these equipment is relatively conventional, without extreme temperature, humidity or load conditions.

Compound lithium-based grease:

Features: The overall performance is better than that of ordinary lithium-based grease, with a higher dropping point, better high temperature resistance, extreme pressure and wear resistance, and longer service life. Its thickener structure is more stable, and it can maintain good lubrication performance under high temperature and high load, and it is not easy to lose or thin.

Applicable scenarios: It is suitable for small bearings such as small precision instruments and power tools. The bearings of these equipment may be subjected to high speeds and certain loads, and compound lithium-based grease can meet their lubrication needs.

Polyurea grease:

Features: It has excellent high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and wear resistance, and can maintain good lubrication effect under high temperature, high speed and high load conditions. At the same time, it also has good sealing, which can prevent dust, moisture and other impurities from entering the bearing, reducing bearing wear and corrosion.

Applicable scenarios: It is commonly used in small high temperature motor bearings, small fan bearings running at high speed, etc., and is widely used in some small equipment with high requirements for grease performance.

Calcium-based grease:

Features: It has good water resistance and corrosion resistance, and the price is relatively low, but its high temperature resistance is poor, and it is easy to lose or dry at high temperature.

Applicable scenarios: If the working environment of small bearings is relatively humid, such as in some small outdoor equipment or equipment that is often in contact with water, calcium-based grease is a good choice, but be careful to avoid using it in high temperature environment.
