In the daily use of lubricating oil, some users will find visible fine impurities and precipitation in the oil, mechanical impurities such as mud, dust, iron filings, fibers and some insoluble salts. Sediment refers to all inorganic and organic substances in the oil that are insoluble in solvents (such as toluene), which is one of the specifications of medium and heavy fuel oil. It includes some mechanical impurities and additives precipitated at low temperatures. For lubricating oil, it will destroy the oil film, increase wear, clog the oil filter, and promote the formation of carbon deposits.

1. Treatment method of impurities existing in the equipment system: Different equipment has different lubricating oil systems, some systems are larger, and some systems are smaller. Regardless of the size of the oil system, it is generally mainly composed of equipment such as oil tanks, oil pumps, oil coolers, oil filters, valves, pipelines and instruments, etc., and is connected to the various lubrication points of the machine itself, the oil holes and oil tanks of the bearings, bearing boxes, and crankcases through pipelines to form a more complex lubricating oil system.
2. Treatment method for new equipment: When installing the lubricating oil pipeline system, the inside of the pipe must be kept clean, but this is not enough. The lubricating oil system of the unit should also be flushed with oil circulation. If the oil system is not clean and there is dirt in the pipe, it will affect the normal operation of the unit and even burn the bearing bush. Therefore, through oil circulation flushing, the long-term stable operation of the unit is guaranteed.
3. Treatment method for long-term equipment: There are often some impurities in the equipment that has been used for a long time. For this, the equipment is generally flushed with flushing oil until the impurities contained in the oil reach the specified index, and the flushing oil after flushing should be discarded or used for other purposes. If these flushing oils are to be used, the corresponding oil analysis and testing must be carried out. They can only be used after the cleanliness reaches a certain standard, and it is required to strengthen filtration and water and impurity cutting before and during use.
