Different Penetration of Lubricant Grease

Lubricating grease is widely used in industrial production, which is classified into different viscosity based on different application, NLGI 00,0,1,2,3. The main difference between lubricating grease No. 0, No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 lies in their viscosity, temperature, and working load.

• NLGI 0 grease has the lowest viscosity, it is one kind of semi-fluid grease, which is suitable for high-speed mechanical bearings, electric motor bearings, and gears in automotive engines.
• NLGI 1 lubricating grease is suitable for low load friction parts, like the electric tools bearings, gears, and chains in low-speed equipment, .
• NLGI 2 Lubricant grease has good adhesion and lubrication properties, which can effectively reduce friction and noise. It is widely used at the spare parts with fast speed and high temperature, such as automotive bearings, motor bearings, hub bearings, and other mechanical manufacturing parts. NLGI 2 grease has good corrosion resistance and water resistance, and  adapt to humid, dusty environment.
• NLGI 3 grease has higher viscosity , which is usually suitable for the lubrication of bearing parts under heavy load, low speed, or high temperature condition. NLGI 3 Lithium grease is widely used in different fields, such as cement factory, mining factory, hoisting machinery, port machinery, railway locomotives and other equipment.
• Excellent high-temperature resistance and can maintain good lubrication performance at temperatures up to 120 ℃.
• Strong wear resistance, effectively extend the service life of machinery.
• NLGI 3 grease has strong wear resistance and can effectively extend the service life of machinery.
